Kale & Berry Smoothie

Smoothies are a great way to get in fruits and veggies.  Then, when you add protein butter, antioxidants or collagen powder, it becomes a well balanced, fulfilling snack or even meal.

Here is my favorite smoothie recipe right now!

Kale & Berry Smoothie

1 1/2 cups of frozen kale & berry mix (we bought fresh-o-start brand from sam's and loved it. link here)
1 cup of vanilla almond milk
1 cup of almond yogurt
1 tbsp of almond butter or any nut butter
1 tbsp chia seeds
2 tsp pomegranate powder (optional).  I used this one
1 scoop of collagen (optional).  I used this one.


Mix in blender until smooth.  Enjoy!

This one we ran out of yogurt so I used
almond milk and orange juice... hence the thinner
texture and darker color.  It was still tasty though.
