Crunchy Stringbeans
This is a take off my mom's Italian recipes, where she adds breadcrumbs to everything!
This isn't really a recipe. I did not measure anything. And, you can change the vegetable whenever you get bored. It is kind of like a step up from my usual roasted vegetable recipe.
So, for these string-beans, I used gluten free bread crumbs (I used glutino), garlic powder, chili powder, salt, pepper and olive oil. Yup... that's it. Heat oven to 350. Spray pan with oil or drizzle some on the pan so that the vegetable doesn't stick. Then lay the string beans down. Try to spread them out so that they are one layer and all crisp up :). I bought pre cut string beans, so that I did not have to snap off the ends (who has time for that lol). Drizzle with more olive oil. Sprinkle with gluten free bread crumbs, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, pepper and throw in the oven for about 30 minutes until crispy. Let cool and enjoy!!
See, does that even count as a recipe??
